This site is located off of I-5 at 5800 Meadows Rd in Lake Oswego. The site is near the interchange of I-5 and Hwy 217.
The site is a stream corridor and regional detention pond impacted by the development of office buildings along Meadows Rd. Soil disturbance has led to encroachment by invasive Himalayan blackberry, English ivy, English hawthorn, and Reed canary grass. Community volunteers from the surrounding office complex have led the charge in restoring the site. Volunteers will remove invasive plants, plant a few remaining native shrubs, and mulch around newly planted native vegetation.
